Tweedledee and Tweedledum- Arkhamverse (Batman Arkham Asylum 2009)

First Appearance: Batman Arkham City (2011) #5

Cousins with an uncanny resemblance to each other, Deever and Dumfree Tweed both
shared criminal leanings and a fixation on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.
Teaming up, they've modelled themselves after Tweedledum and Tweeldledee from
that book, planning often outrageous, absurdest schemes to trap the Batman.

Real Name: Deever and Dumfree Tweed

Psychological Profile
The Tweed cousins' obsession with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is similar to
that of Jarvis Tetch, but unlike Tetch, the Tweeds are not delusional so much as
severely dependent on each other, with a shared fixation on extreme role play.
They know they are not Tweedledum and Tweedledee, but nonetheless delight in
acting like them. Their complex rhyming and complicated in-jokes prolong their
treatment sessions, but the intense aggression they show when separated hardly
make things easier.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
It's difficult to believe they are cousins, as they could pass as identical
twins. I suspect plastic surgery.

I avoid scheduling sessions with them on the same days I'm treating Tetch, as
otherwise the nearly endless recitation of selections from Lewis Carroll would
be enough to make even me question my sanity. Or at least my career choices.

At some point prior to the Arkham Asylum riots, they had formed the Wonderland Gang with the Mad Hatter and other criminals, who were fans of the "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" books. They had at least one run in with Batman and were deemed insane, being placed in Arkham.

The two cousins were playing on their see saw in the Akrham North, when Batman brings the Joker back to the Asylum. They take the opportunity to escape, leaving their signature and identical hats on the ride.
